Gatekeeping. It's annoying and irritating. I'm near the end, I have the ID card yet the damn creature...which normally just slowly prowls the hallways and rooms, constantly just guards where I need to go. I got it to chase me twice into a room, and had thought I lost it. Went to where I had to go...and the thing stops it's patrol, and comes charging down the hallway. You're basically doomed if it spots you first. Every time now...it'd be better if the monster patrolled an actual area, but didn't know it was trying to stop you from accessing a card read to advance. It's not hard or difficult, it's just a cheap tactic. It's not as noticeable through most of the game because you're never in an area with the monster for too long and you're always given areas to hide. The last section...forget it.It's not a terrible game, but the AI ruins it. I found it rather interesting and fun - for the most part - but I can't get over the monster AI. It breaks the game. Definitely some things to like, though.. 3 hours down and I can put to rest that this game was NOT trying to imitate 'Alien: Isolation' as some others have claimed. It looks more like a clone of 2 other indie sci-fi horror games I'd recently played. Namely Syndome and Hollow.(I know that the two games have a large amount of hate heaped on them so if you're not a fan don't bother with this one).Whilst not being anywhere near as good as either of those (it was way shorter and has no combat system), it did have the same kind of look, feel (and ending) as both and its pretty much what I was expecting before even starting it up. Level design wasn't bad, the randomly spawning single enemy in each level was rather irritating at times but it was easy to outwit if it wasn't directly behind a door you go to open. The stealth system wasn't perfect but it seemed to work every time I was in the dark so can't complain. The whole staving off infection concept was neat and all but it was too easy to keep the toxicity levels down and therefore made it kind of superfluous. To sum up...good job, could've been better. I look forward to anything similar the devs can produce.. For a game with this price, it's amazing. Story is somewhat interesting and making me to just play more. Environments are atmospheric, and often isolate the player. I like there is no stupid jump - scares, like in similar productions, but real scary situations. For the price that it is, I would strongly recommend purchasing it.. Dont waste your time or money on this mess. How in the world did i get this game?. Another game that failed to properly deliver a horror story. Our objective is to pass through individual stages that require a 100% stealth play style because otherwise our character will end up dead after a pointless run. Besides annoying, very loud audio jumpscares which have the potential to damage your sense of hearing the only danger we have to face is the Phantaruk and our own clones. The big guy is easy to trick by going underneath a desk and waiting a second but the duplicates are an absolute nightmare. Most of them are passive or at least seem like it because a clone who didn't give a damn when you walked right underneath his nose can all suddenly decide to attack you from the back 5 seconds later. Because of such nonsense I really regretted the fact that the game doesn't have any guns in it. If it did I would really have to think over if I should aim it at the clones or my own head.. Do not even launch it if you are chicken. Only for people with nerves of steel! This game was like 6 hour marathon of terror. I played games like Dead Space normally. I don't know what this games has, but it's like whole new level of horror. I will not forget this game for a long time. That is a horror I am certain I will not forget for a long time.. Scary but not scary...how can I explain it. Very intriguing game.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rtN4JfZ0o_w. Indie horror game made in unity. I didn't expect much and I didn't get much. Pretty bland but playable.. Worth its cost. But it and expect to get a few hours of midnight fun, nothing more.
